Madrid Barajas

I returned to Miami yesterday from a 10 day trip to Valencia, Spain. This is the one picture I managed to take in the whole trip. That is frustrating, especially when you see some great opportunities when driving around the city, but you just don't have time to stop and make it happen.

It was a work trip, so every waking minute was spent in work related activities. I don't think that during the ten days I spent more than one hour in my hotel room where I was not sleeping/getting ready to go to work.

Madrid just got a new terminal in it's Barajas airport last weekend. It is a modern facility, which has been the target of many jokes due to the many problems that it has had this week. The roof was pretty interesting. It changes color along the terminal's length, and it is very long (I heard 2 km, but not sure).

Tomorrow I leave for Halifax again. Maybe I'll have time for some winter photographs over the next few days. Maybe I'll be stuck in an office during daylight yet again.
